  1. Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?

    Advance Purchased is highly recommended and tours often sell out in advance. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book well in advance. Check availability and buy tickets online or call our offices 800-722-5394. We have representatives available 7 days a week.

  2. What type of ticket should I buy if I'm bringing a very young child?

    While we welcome children of all ages on the tour, the tour is not recommended for small children. We have reduced price tickets for children ages 4 to 11. Children ages 3 and younger are free with an accompanying adult ticket.

  3. Where do the tours start and end?

    Tours depart and conclude at the Charleston Visitors Center at 375 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29403

  4. What exactly do we see on the tour?

    The comprehensive 90 minute city tour includes all the major points of interest in Charleston's Historic District including stately homes, Rainbow Row, famous churches, the Old City Market, Customs House and much more. The tour also stops at the Battery where you'll have wonderful views of beautiful homes, White Point Gardens and historic Ft Sumter

  5. Can I bring food or beverages on the bus?

    No, food and beverages are not allowed on the bus. Please finish eating or drinking prior to boarding.

  6. Are you open for tours year round?

    Yes, we operate tours seven days a week year-round except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day & New Year's Day. Seasonal hours apply so please check our calendar for the most up to date schedule information.

  7. Are there any stops along the way?

    We stop only at the Battery for approximately 10-15 minutes for a view and photo op of Ft Sumter.

  8. Is the bus handicapped and wheelchair accessible?

    At present we cannot accommodate wheelchairs, but the bus is accessible for those with limited mobility if they are assisted by a companion. There are several stairs to climb to board the vehicle.

  9. How many seats are on the bus?

    Our buses can accommodate up to 25 people.

  10. Is the bus air-conditioned

    Yes, all of our buses are climate-controlled.

  11. Is there any narration on the tour?

    Yes, the tour is fully narrated by a licensed, professional tour guide.

  12. Is parking available near the departure point?

    Yes there is ample parking at the Visitors Center and nearby parking garages.

  13. Is there a restroom on the bus?

    No, but restrooms are located at the Visitors Center.

  14. Can I carry luggage or other large items on the bus?

    We do not have space on the bus for large items including luggage, wheelchairs, and strollers.

  15. Are pets allowed on board?

    No, pets are prohibited. Service animals are the only animals allowed on board.

  16. Gift certificates available for the trip?

    Yes, gift certificates are available and they make perfect gifts for holidays, birthdays or any other occasion!

  17. Can I book a private trip?
